Kim Boyd, MD, Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Boyd is WeightWatchers’ new Chief Medical Officer. In her role, she is responsible for leading the company’s science and research, shaping the company’s clinical vision and strategy, and overseeing their integration into WeightWatchers’ evolving programs. Dr. Boyd has helped lead and found some of the most innovative brands in healthcare. She began her career as an early leader at One Medical, and after establishing its Chicago market, she became the company’s first National Team Medical Director. She was a founding team member and the Chief Medical Officer at Calibrate, where she built an obesity and metabolic health program to accompany GLP-1 medications. Dr. Boyd also served as the Chief Medical Officer at Caire and as the Medical Director at Galileo and Nurx. For the last six years, Dr. Boyd has worked with more than 70 of the world’s best scientists and researchers in obesity and metabolic health, women’s health, and longevity to build novel models of care that include emerging testing and therapeutics, as well as comprehensive programming. In addition to successfully co-founding a cutting-edge longevity company, she has served as an advisor to numerous innovative health startups. A former national team gymnast, Dr. Boyd was Phi Beta Kappa and an Academic All-American at Stanford University. After winning a Medical Scholars award for medicine and the humanities at Stanford Medical School, she became board-certified in Family Medicine and completed an Integrative Medicine Fellowship through the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona.
